9 pups, 4 females and 5 males, born June 22, 2008
Cobreeder: Lise Pratt
Our Comedy litter arrived in quite a rush on June 22, 2008. The pups were all born within two hours. These pups all have a comedic theme to their registered names. To go to each dog’s web page click on his/her name. Click on the photos to see a larger version. To see how these puppies grew up, visit their blog at www.comedylitter.blogspot.com for lots of photos, videos and updates.
This amazing group of dogs made their mom a GRCA Outstanding Dam before they turned two and their dad a GRCA Outstanding Sire before they turned three! We’ve had lots of Outstanding Dams in our breeding careers but never one with pups this young. Wow!
Gaylan’s Comedy Litter
“Catcher” stayed close to home, moving to Long Island, NY with Sandy Washburn, Trader and Royal. Sandy and Catcher did obedience and agility with a passion. Catcher entered the GRCA’s Obedience Dog Hall of Fame and went from his first CD leg to his final OTCH points in one year. We lost Catcher in July 2011 to severe stomach ulceration.
“Ivy” headed west to California where she lives with Vicki and Bob Chaney, their two goldens, Darcy and Polly, and Baggins the cat. Ivy and Vicki are doing obedience, agility, tracking and (hopefully) field work.
“Radar” lives in Ontario with Leila and Earl Marshall and their gang. Leila and Radar are doing field work, obedience and perhaps even conformation. He started his career by earning his Canadian WC, WCI and JH at his first birthday.
