“Tux” moved back to Connecticut with Chris and Mike Marinelli and their dogs Gabby, Liza and Harley. They will be doing agility, obedience and field. Tux was a star in his puppy kindergarten and family dog I class. He earned his Canine Good Citizen Award (CGC) at the age of five months and his Junior Hunter (JH) and Working Certificate (WC) titles by 14 months of age. He has since gone on to earn his WCX on his first attempt.
Tux debuted in agility in March 2010 and earned his NAJ in three trials with all 1st placements and his NA, the following weekend, again with all 1sts. A few weeks later, he completed his OAJ and has OA and NF legs. In early September 2010, he finished his AX title, which made his mom, Tango, a GRCA Outstanding Dam. In November, he finished his MX and MXJ titles.
Not only is Tux bright and birdy, but he is also beautiful. He recently earned the GRCA’s Certificate of Conformation Assessment (CCA) which qualified Tux for the GRCA’s Versatility Certificate.
Chris and Tux had quite a year in 2010, earning eleven AKC and GRCA title: CCA, NA, NAJ, NF, OA, OAJ, AX, AXJ, MX, MXJ, and VC. In January 2011 when he earned his tenth QQ to put him into the GRCA’s Agility Dog Hall of Fame and in September, he became a Master Agility Champion. Pretty amazing for Chris’s Novice A dog–first agility trial to Hall of Fame in only ten months and to MACH in only 18 months of trialing!! By April 2012, Tux had become a MACH2. See more of Tux on his other webpage.
