We don’t know when in 2020 these breedings will take place and have not selected sires for either Ready’s or Park’s litters.
We expect all of these breedings to produce healthy, talented, stable, long-lived dogs ideal for competition and working homes, including prospects for obedience/rally, agility, hunt test, tracking, nosework, search and rescue, and more. All parents have their hip, eye, elbow and heart clearances, and will be DNA tested, if possible. It can be very complicated to DNA test frozen semen but we will make every effort to test Rocky during the breeding.
TBD x Ready
(expected June 2020)
Sire – TBD
Her 2020 litter will be Ready’s first. We are excited to see what this little hotrod will produce. Ready is a bright, quick learner who loves every sport we’ve tried with her, including nosework, obedience, field and tracking. Her career is limited by my work and travel schedule now but I’m confident in her talent and future. We will be getting her health clearances once she turns two in October.
Ready’s sire was a dog that I bred back in the mid-80s. Chase was a healthy, talented dog who was a natural in every sport Bets tried with him. As she describes him, he was just easy. He had a wonderful temperament. I owned his sister, Sparky, who was a Search and Rescue dog on top of being a conformation, obedience and hunt test dog. Ready’s dam is Cindy Groveman’s great bitch, Paige, who is a Qualified All-Age Master Hunter who is doing very well in agility, too. She is a great obedience prospect but she is somewhat limited by Cindy’s health. (https://www.k9data.com/pedigree.asp?ID=873215)
We may be breeding Parks in 2020 or 2021. She is a fun girl who is showing in tracking, agility and hunt tests. Parks has her eye and heart clearances, and her hips and elbows were just done and look good, although we are waiting final word from the OFA. Parks is very multi-talented dog. She earned her TD at 6 months of age and now has her TDX. She is running in Excellent agility and easily earned her UKC SHR and AKC JH.
