Jerry moved to New Jersey to live with Susan Palius and the rest of the Palius pack, including Feo, from the Gambling litter. He was named for one of Susan’s favorite ballets, Fancy Free, which tells the story of three sailors on shore leave in New York City. Fancy Free was choreographed by and originally starred Jerome Robbins who was affectionately known in the dance world as Jerry.
Jerry is a very busy boy. He passed his CGC test at 5 months of age and earned his Tracking Dog (TD) title at 9 months of age. He finished up his Rally Novice title at a year, his RA and RE titles soon thereafter and his CD title at 22 months of age.
Jerry finished his CDX, OA, OAJ, Open FAST (OF), AX and AXJ titles in 2008. Then in 2009, Jerry finished his MX, MXJ and XF titles, as well as collecting QQs. In September 2011, Jerry earned the final points needed for his Master Agility Championship, passed the GRCA’s Certificate of Conformation Assessment, which qualified him for the Versatility Certificate Excellent. Congratulations to Susan and Jerry!
In June 2012, Jerry completed the requirements for the GRCA’s Agility Dog Hall of Fame. He’s nearly qualified for the AKC’s Agility National Championships so stay tuned!
