There will never be another dog like Doc. He won the AKC Agility Nationals not once but twice! The only golden thus far to have done so.
While competing in his second National he missed the A-Frame contact, which dropped our standing from first to seventh place against all Border Collies. This forced us to compete and WIN the Challengers round for the spot in the final. Traditionally, this is the toughest round in the National but Doc went on to win this round against several crazy-fast border collies, and ran it clean!
Doc entered the finals with me and went on to win it all–over 4 seconds faster than the next dog and beautifully clean.
He will forever be in my heart and remains a tremendous part of who I am today.
