Updates from Linda and Mike:
Switch was born June 7, 2015 (Light Litter) and was bred by Gayle Watkins of Gaylan Goldens, using 25 year old semen from our Sixpak, OTCH42 One Ash Stardust On Tap, UDX27 AX NAJ. Switch is very athletic, sleek and balanced, bright and fast at everything.
Switch is a very active boy with lots of energy and speed especially in Agility. He flies around the ring like his mom Peach, who became an AKC Agility Grand Champion at 13 years old. Mike has trouble keeping up so he works Switch at quite a distance. He easily completed the difficult GRCA ADHF Agility Dog Hall Of Fame on 8-1-21. On November 5, 2021 Switch earned his AKC MACH title. He is very fast and placed in all but 2 classes from his Novice title to his MACH title. He runs master standard classes around 40 seconds and jumpers classes in the mid 20’s. If you blink, you miss him.
Switch is Mike’s dog however he allowed Linda to show him in Rally for a short time. His journey was fast. In just 3 months, he earned his RN in February and finished his AKC Rally Championship “RACH” in May. He finished is RACH title on May 10, 2019 in style with 3 perfect scores of 100 and won the HTQ (High Triple Q) & HC (High Combined) Awards. He was the 10th Golden to earn the RACH title. To date, Switch has earned 12 HTQ Awards & 10 HC Award in just 20 trials.. Showing in 60 classes, he earned 33 First places and 35 perfect scores of 100. Switch is always ready to play with enthusiasm in the Rally ring.
Switch earned his GRCA CCA (Conformation Assessment) title and has qualified for the GRCA VCX, Versatility Excellent title.
In the field, he earned his JH, WC & WCX titles. He has excellent marking ability and straight direct lines to the birds and back. He is a very fast swimmer and loves working. Mike is enjoying working in the Field, Obedience and Agility with this talented boy.
