Kelly was loved and cherished by Tammy and Jim Murphy and their two sons, Ryan and Jimmy. She died of an unidentified cancer on Aug 29, 2011. jim wrote to say, “I shared all of this to confirm for you (if you have ever doubted it) that breeding some of these very special dogs to serve as pets rather than just a performers, hunters, and workers brings immeasurable joy to the lucky people who get to spend their lives with them. Kelly helped us to raise our boys, spending her best days, and ours, with us. I count finding you and Kelly as one of the best things I’ve ever done for our family. She was truly a part of our family, was deeply, deeply loved, brought great richness to our lives, and will be forever in our hearts.”
