Makai moved to New Jersey to play agility (and obedience and tracking) with Gail Kraeuter and Chelsie. Makai started her career by passing the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) at 8 months of age and her Therapy Dog International (TDI) certification at 14 months. She earned her VCD1 by 22 months of age by:

She earned her Tracking Dog (TD) title at 15 months of age.
Her RN title at the Philly Expo Center at 17 months.
At 20 months, she earned her CD title in three straight trials with placements, including a class win.
And at 22 months, she earned both her NA (with 3 firsts) and her NAJ title. Since then she's since added her UKC CD, OAJ and OA, all before she turned two. She then went on to complete her AX and AXJ on the weekend of her 2nd birthday. She finished her CDX, MX and MXJ titles by three and her MACH right after her 4th birthday. She finished her Master FAST title in May 2009, her MACH2 in June 2009 and her MACH3 in June 2010. Makai has also qualified for the AKC Agility Nationals for the last three years.
